A couple things to note this month: I will be performing on Valentine's Day at Piacere with Dave Moreno and we have a date at the Half Moon Bay Brewery next month on Friday, March 30th. I will also be performing at Piacere solo on Thursday, Nov. 10th. We have three Tuesdays at Johnny Foley's this month - you never know whats going to happen. Last month we met Lamont Dozier of the legendary Holland / Dozier / Holland songwriting trio. We had a nice chat and he shared some his collaboration stories with us. We are in Capitola on a Sunday Nov 20th this month at Paradise Beach Grille and we are also performing at Sandra Vickers wedding reception with a special lineup including Chris Cobb, Jackie Enx, Marla Goody, Donny Bilinski and myself. My understanding is that this is open to the public.

We are semi-regular at Johnny Foley's now usually on Tuesday or Thursday. I am also playing solo Thursday evenings at Piacere, when I am not at Johnny Foley's. May is the start of Farmers Market (Hot Harvest Nights) in San Carlos, so the live music at Piacere should be a nice addition to the evening. We are back in San Mateo this coming Saturday May 7th, with Dave Moreno on bass and Jesse Hiller joining us on drums. At the end of the month we will be playing the Grant and Green, with the Johnny Foley's line-up: Dave Moreno & Ernest Carter. Joining us that evening will be guitarist Terry Hiatt, who is, without a doubt, one of the best guitarists around. We don't get a lot of chances to play with Terry. Speaking of Terry Hiatt, I will also be co-hosting the Pioneer Blues Jam, with Terry Hiatt on Sunday May 29th of the Memorial Day weekend.

We'll be "testing the waters" at McGovern's Bar in San Mateo. They have relocated the stage and added some lighting. It looks like they are ready to give it a go with live music. As far as dive bars goes, they got it going on. Plenty of room to dance, reasonably priced drinks and a free pool table. We are pleased to say that we have been "grandfathered" into the Terra Nova Crab Feed, which used to be the IBL Crab Feed. Tix are $45, there are some really good vacation items in the auction and the crab is world class. We are back at the Half Moon Bay Brewing Co. for another Friday night. That is such a fun place,and of course we have our duo at Piacere. Tiffany will be with me on Valentine's day an Marla will be with me on the 11th and the 26th. If you are looking for some serious partying action, come out the Grant & Green, that place is always off the hook! Cheers...
