Marla Goody (lead, backing Vocals)

Marla Goody has a long history of singing in her family, in fact, she is a 4th generation vocalist, performing since the age of 10. Marla is a gifted vocalist with a dynamic stage presence and is always a crowd favorite. With a wide range of styles, Marla is capable of leading the band through a raoucous rendition of "Highway to Hell", or transport you back to the psychedellic 60's with both Janis Joplin's "Bobbie McGee" and Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit". Marla can also snap you back to the present with a near perfect rendition of Bonnie Raitt's "Let's Give Them Something to Talk About" or bring down the house with Susan Tedeschi's "Little By Little".

Marla is also a top-notch backup singer and highlights her versatility by efortlessly moving between roles of lead singer to harmony specialist. She has worked with local Blueswoman Tia Carroll and has toured with Pink Floyd tribute band Which One's Pink.

Marla's talent has not gone unnoticed. Recently she has made a name for herself locally in the Blues community. She has been a featured performer with her band Goog-N-Plenty at the Little Fox pro-Blues Jam in Redwood City, and at the Super Blues Jams held bi-annually at the Princeton Landing in Half Moon Bay. Marla has performed as a guest vocalist with the house band at Nick's at Rockaway in Pacifica, and has a regualr gig at Petar's in Lafayette.

Marla also has her own band Good-N-Plenty, and is a featured performer with J' La Chic Productions in a Broadway style musical review.
