Cover Songs

Its always nice to get an idea of what the band sounds like playing song that you are famliar with. Here are a couple great songs "covered" by the Rodeo Clowns.

What I Got (Cover) - Written by Sublime. Performed by the Rodeo Clowns: John Lawton (guitar & vocals) A nice little groove - Rodeo Clowns style.

The Joker (Cover) - Written by Steve Miller. Performed by the Rodeo Clowns: John Lawton (guitar & vocals) and Erica Lee (vocals). A good interpretation of a classic Rock and Roll song, with John and Erica sharing lead vocals.

Lights (Cover) - Written by local boys Journey, performed by the Rodeo Clowns: John Lawton (Guitar & bkg vocals), Erica Lee (vocals) and Scot Larsen (bass). One of the first songs I learned and still one of my favorite songs. I remember being blown away by the background vocals when I first heard it.

Strong Enough (Cover) - Written by Sheryl Crow and the Tuesday Supper Club. Performed by the Rodeo Clowns: Erica Lee (vocals), Scot Larsen (bass & background vocals) and John Lawton (guitar and background vocals) This mix came out beautifully, its reminiscent of KFOG's acoustic Sunday.

Strong Enough (Cover) - Written by Sheryl Crow and the Tuesday Supper Club. Performed by the Rodeo Clowns: John Lawton (guitar) and Erica Lee (vocals). A simple arrangement that showcases Erica's beautiful voice.
