November for the Rodeo Clowns
November is almost upon us. We have three gigs booked for the month. All in San Francisco!! Yeah, I love this town!! OK... here is waht we have .
Nov. 3 (Friday) - Maggie McGarry's, 9:45 PM - 12:45 AM
Nov. 8 (Wednesday) - Johnny Foley's Irish Pub, 9:30 PM - 12:30 AM
Nov. 22 (Wednesday) - Johnny Foley's Irish Pub, 9:30 PM - 12:30 AM
Nov. 3 (Friday) - Maggie McGarry's an Irish Pub in North Beach, 9:45 PM - 12:45 AM. Looks like the Irish Pub is a winner no matter where you open one up. We went up the Maggie McGarries a couple weeks ago and we like it. There is a stage so everyone can see and plenty of room to dance. Also a friend and colleague of mine by the name of John Joyce works there. This Pub is pretty new and I haven't been able to find a web site for it. Its located at 1353 Grant Avenue, San Francisco.
Nov. 8 (Wednesday) - Johnny Foley's Irish Pub 9:30 PM - 12:30 AM. Love this place. Always gets a good crowd.
Nov. 22 (Wednesday) - Johnny Foley's Irish Pub 9:30 PM - 12:30 AM. This is the first time we are playing twice in a month at Johnny Foley's. The properietor told me that this is normally a busy night, because it is the night before Thanksgiving. Looking forward to playing. People are always in a good mood and it makes the gig a little better than usual. Can't wait.
A couple of additional comments. We are currently booking 3-4 nights per month. If we play too much it becomes all-consuming for us. Last, it looks like we got the Irish Pubs pretty well covered. Irish Pubs are wonderful destinations for an evening.
