About the Rodeo Clowns (Updated 2/24/07)
The Rodeo Clowns are a core group of three musicians Peter Link, Donnie Bilinski and John Lawton. They have been called the "new Crosby Stills Nash and Young" by several people who have heard them perform. The music the Rodeo Clowns play includes both originals and cover songs. Their cover songs include many of the classic songs of our era by groups such as Van Morrison, Tom Petty and The Doobie Brothers. However, their cover music is not limited to any specific era or genre. The Rodeo Clowns like to play songs that are great songs - songs that sound good and relflect their spirit. Other groups coverd include Jack Johnson, Los Lonley Boys, The Violent Femmes and even Lionel Ritchie. Rodeo Clown originals are not to be overlooked. They are well crafted songs featuring strong three part harmonies and blend in well with their cover songs.

One of the Rodeo Clown's trademarks is the three part harmony, which has become somewhat of a lost art. A second trademark is the use acoustic guitars throughtout their set. Acoustic guitars tends to take the edge off of the songs and make it a little easier to carry on a conversation while they are playing. There is nothing like a three part hoarmony and the acoustic guitars compliment their vocal arrangements. If you have had the opportunity to listen to Rodeo Clowns, you owe it to yourself to come to one of their shows.
People who enjoy music and the spontanaety of live shows will enjoy seeing the Rodeo Clowns. Many of the songs they play are timeless songs and they are apreciated by everyone of all age groups.
